One of NYC’s longest-running theater programs for people under 18 years old, several of today’s stars of stage and screen got their start in HB Studio’s drama classes for Young People. Our roster of graduates includes Claire Danes, Amanda Peet, Jerry O’Connell, and the more recent emerging talents of Monica Bell, Lorna Courtney, and Molly Carden.
Whether in our studio acting classes, special workshops, or weekend acting intensives intended to provide preparation for college or conservatory programs, young people between the ages of 13 to 18 have been learning at HB for decades. We are proud to act as a key step for young actors to experience the power of imagination and give meaningful expression to the world around them.
