Scholarships That Open Doors

The Richard Mawe Scholarship Fund

The Richard Mawe Scholarship Fund honors the life and leadership of the late Richard C. Mawe, HB President Emeritus, and expands access to professional training for artists with financial need. Your contribution directly subsidizes tuition for artists who might otherwise be unable to study at HB Studio. Each gift helps carry forward a legacy rooted in generosity, rigor and shared humanity.

The Mark Blum Scholarship Fund

Established by Janet Zarish in honor of Mark Blum, this scholarship supports actors enrolled in the Hagen Core Training program. Mark Blum was a teacher, mentor and artist whose commitment to young actors was unwavering. Supporting this scholarship ensures that talented and diverse students continue to receive the kind of training Mark believed in deeply. Gifts to the Mark Blum Scholarship are fully tax-deductible and provide life-changing access to professional conservatory training.
