124 Bank Street Theater, one of the most unique and historic theater rentals in NYC. Located in the West Village of Manhattan, the venue is appropriate for full productions and readings. Fully equipped with lighting and audio packages, prop rental, and seating for up to 54 patrons, plus 5 removable seats for accessibility. Questions & Answers
A: 54 permanent seats; up to 61 seats permitted with removable chairs if clear wheelchair access is maintained. Total occupancy is 74 (including audience and performers).
A: No. Renters must manage their own ticketing and Front of House staff.
A: Rep light plot, projector, desktop Mac, QLab Pro access, mics, speakers. Bring adapters if needed.
A: Yes. You must restore the theater to its original condition, broom-clean, with all trash and items removed. Failure may result in forfeited security deposit.
A: HB handles general maintenance, but renters must not leave these areas in disarray. Excessive mess may incur cleaning fees.
A: Only with consecutive-day bookings and prior approval.
A: Yes, livestreaming is permitted. However, internet bandwidth in our historic building can be limited. We recommend bringing your own hotspot or doing a speed test prior to your event.
A: Standard hours are 10:00am–10:00pm. Early or late access is $75/hour additional.

A: Only if you obtain and provide proof of a valid liquor license. HB Studio does not provide one.
A: Our facilities are located in older historic buildings. While we do our best to manage heating and comfort year-round, temperatures may fluctuate during extreme weather. We recommend dressing accordingly and allowing extra time for the space to warm up in colder months.
A: Yes. Renters are responsible for providing their own qualified technician or board op to operate lights, sound, and manage cues. All equipment must be operated by experienced personnel. If you need a referral, please contact the Production Manager in advance.
