Take the Stage: A Musical Theatre Audition Workshop is a fun, hands-on 5-week course for anyone looking to feel more confident walking into a musical theatre audition—whether you’re totally new or getting back into the groove. Each week is designed to break down a different part of the audition process in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We’ll kick things off with a group sing and some tips to help get you in the right mindset.
From there, you’ll go through a mock audition, complete with feedback and personalized callback material to prepare. We’ll dive into what makes a great callback, how to take direction in a rehearsal-style setting, and what directors are really looking for. In our final week, you’ll step on stage to record 1–2 polished musical selections—perfect for auditions, reels, or just feeling more prepared. You’ll leave with practical tools, real-world experience, and a boost of confidence to help you stand out at your next audition. Accompanist provided.
Your guide for the workshop is Chris Georgetti, a seasoned performer who spent five incredible years in The Phantom of the Opera, from 2018 until the show’s final curtain in 2023. With over 15 years of experience onstage, Chris brings a deep love of theatre and a down-to-earth approach to helping performers grow. Whether you’re prepping for your first audition or your next big role, you’ll be learning from someone who’s been in the room—and knows how to help you shine in it.
