Jermaine Rowe

Jermaine Rowe is currently premiering his solo show TRANSITIONS at the 30th Anniversary of the Spark Theatre Festival in New York City. His recently role Mlima in Lyn Nottage MLIMAS TALE won him the CT Circle Award for Acting (Westport Country Playhouse). His original musicals include THE CHILDREN FROM THE BLUE MOUNTAINS (BroadwayFutureSongbook series) and THE LEGEND OF THE ROLLING CALF currently in development.

His Broadway credits include: THE LION KING and FELA. He was a former dancer with The Dance Theater of Harlem ensemble and The National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica. He was a tenor in THE TALES AND HOFFMAN and BARBER OF SEVILLE for the Martina Arroyo Prelude to Performance Opera series. He holds an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College and B.A in Broadcast Journalism from the University of the West Indies
