Fritz Weaver Memorial Service

HB notes with deepest sadness the passing of our dear friend and Board member, Fritz Weaver, on November 26, 2016. Our loving thoughts go out to the Oliver/Weaver family.

A memorial will be held at Symphony Space on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 6:30pm.

In remembering Fritz, we celebrate one of our finest actors; a splendid artist, true humanitarian; a great, generous, and gracious soul. For HB and its community, Fritz was steadfast in his advocacy and support. We are grateful to have known him, to have had his presence with us, and for the lasting power of his example.

Read his obituary in The New York Times.

Instead of one big benefit bash this year, throughout the 2016-2017 season, HB will be hosting small benefit performance events in our theater at 124 Bank Street. First up this season is: Continue reading →
