Christopher Abbott teaches this six-session scene study workshop for the working actor, with a focus on generosity with a scene partner in performance. Rehearsed scenes will be presented in class for development and critique. Particular focus will be given to the skills of being a generous actor, giving and receiving with your scene partner to create a mutually successful performance. Uta Hagen’s approach to acting technique will be incorporated. Each session will include time for discussion on topics such as negotiating the current landscape of the business in theater, film and TV.
Open to actors placed at level 3+, or by submission of an application.
